  • How moisture conditions influence pasture grazing, understanding rangeland health and how to adjust stocking rates for drier conditions to ensure resiliency for native grasses.
  • Managing native rangeland and riparian areas to increase production, improving water quality, reducing runoff, and recharging moisture for livestock producers.
  • Importance of using the right type of energizer to help regulate your electric fences’ voltage depending on the type of livestock and how to convert traditional fences – like barbed wire – into electric fences.
  • How to address grounding issues to maximize the energy efficiency and longevity of electric fences.
  • Selecting the right forage variety inputs – or mixes – and how to push the right level of plant populations for drier weather conditions.
  • How to identify and manage annuals and perennials – by disease pressure and local site conditions – forage varieties and why planning long-term soil health is so important.
